About the Circuit

The Circuit consists of the city centre Church in Truro and 15 others chapels and churches which surround it. Reaching from Threemilestone and Chacewater in the North of the Circuit right down to Portloe and Portscatho on the beautiful Roseland Peninsular, the Truro Circuit is as diverse geographically as it is in style and ministry.

We have four full-time presbyter Ministers and one full-time Deacon.

In addition we are delighted to include within our Circuit Staff the Revd Aubin de Gruchy (Chaplain to Truro School) and Revd. David Rhymer (who serves as Theological Education Advisor). Our Circuit staff is complemented by 6 Supernumerary Ministers and a part-time Circuit Administrator.

Mission Statement

Striving to become the heart of Christ at the heart of each community.’

Last year we completed a comprehensive review of the Circuit and its mission. Entitled ‘The way ahead?’ the report encouraged each congregation to develop a clear strategy for its future work and seek a clear and attainable vision for its Christian witness. The newly formed, Circuit Resourcing Mission Group is working alongside local people to discern and resource such mission as will place the love and Good News of Christ at the centre of each community. We ask your prayers as we continue our exciting spiritual adventure.
