About the Circuit You can find us between the Devon Border and the edge of Bodmin Moor, so farming affects most of our livelihoods. Some of our rural congregations number less than a dozen, while Central in Launceston has over 250 members and a healthy number of children too. I feel that this kind of variety is healthy and it allows our various strengths to be used well in the Lord's name.
Mission
Statement The Calling of the Launceston Area Methodist Circuit, in keeping with that of the Methodist Church, is to respond to the Gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out it's discipleship in worship and mission.
We value the faith and commitment of previous generations, on whose work we seek to build and we hope and pray that our own vision for the mission of Jesus will break new bounds in it's turn.
